If you are under 18, you must have parental consent to be pierced. We know you love piercings and we love giving them to you… however, it is illegal for any minor to be pierced without parental permission. This means that we require a legal guardian present with state or federally issued identification. We also require some form of identification from the minor: state or federal ID is preferred, however, if your last name matches that of your legal guardian, school ID is O.K.
It can be daunting to choose a safe and comfortable place to bring your children for their first set of earlobe piercings. Piercing guns are not safe, even for earlobe piercings, so we utilize the same safe piercing procedure for little ones as well. It is required that the child is old enough to give consent to perform the piercing procedure.
There are important things to consider before bringing your child in for their first piercings:
We will also go over these considerations with you and your child before doing their piercings. Once you and your child feel you're ready for their piercings, please contact us so we can make you an appointment. You are more than welcome to visit the studio any time to ask questions.
Once you've made your appointment, you will need to come in with your child's original birth certificate and your government-issued photo ID. If you are a legal guardian, you will need to instead bring the original copies of your guardianship papers and your government-issued photo ID.
